Ok - so we just got my daughter a cell phone. She's 13 and we got it about a month ago. She acts like it is her lifeline! We have to take it away from her because she would be on it for hours. We have rules about it, like it stays...

How often do you think is reasonable to get professional family pictures done? They get quite expensive and year after year it adds up! Now with phones I think we do a pretty good job but it's not quite the same as family...

Kristen Howe They should be done every once in awhile for family moments. My family had it done once, a decade ago or so, for my grandfather's 80th birthday. If you can't afford it done professionally, get someone you know and trust to take a photo for you.

susan I think it's a nice idea especially your first Christmas with your baby daughter....but like you say and @MALUSE says, a friend with a camera or half decent camera on a phone could take them for you.... then you would just have to pay for printing.... but...

carolscash I have a granddaughter that will be celebrating such a wonderful event this year. It is quite exciting to see that they will be having a first. My grandbaby is 5 months old and will be 7 months old two days before Christmas.
