what is this type of programs- is it trustable?

There are many earning options in internet. There are ptc, ptr, sites to earn money. But I have heared a program type called HYIP. What is this type of programs ? Is earning with this site is secured? and trustworthy?

kingsteven HYIP = High Yield Investment Program. On HYIP, you must deposit (invest money) to join their plan. HYIP offering High return but most of them are scam. If you want to try invest on HYIP, please use money that you can afford to lose. Hope this answer help...
