My mother died with lung cancer

My mother died from lung cancer her doctor said not to worry that it wasn't hereditary but my grandfather had it and my aunt and uncle has it.So I cant help but wonder if the doc. really knows.

bonnie2008 I think whether you will have the risk of lung cancer,you should live a normal life .that is you shouldn't be affected by the worried minds. because one can't change the reality,so do you. just choose live a happy life,ok? but since you have a family...

rsa101 Well it is sad to hear such news, my condolences. My mother has it too but in her case it stared out in her breast 3 years ago. I thought it was all over but now she was diagnosed to have it in her lungs caused by breast cancer. It seemed that it was not...
