Borrow money from a friend can harm friendship?

someone told me that never borrow money from your friend, if you do that your friend will be harmed. And now I need money for a program, how could I do?

lanlan0229 I don't think so.As we know, a friend in need is a friend indeed. A real friend will give a hand when you are encontered with difficulties. Why it will harm your friend? You won't repay him or her? Trust is an indispensible ingredient in friendship.

lanlan0229 I never took Topamax for the purpose of weight control.But I also heard that it is effective in that respect.
