Ambiguous

We live in such an ambiguous world but yet people are so quick to be definite. Who are we to put a definite term on something in an ambiguous world?

What does “serene certainty” most probably mean?

serene means "peaceful, tranquil", then what sense does it make when collocate with "certainty"? an untroubled and fixed outcome?

Just an Ordinary Owl? I would understand it to mean that the person believes in something absolutely and with complete confidence. "I have a serene certainty that day will follow night." It is not a common use of the words and would be considered somewhat poetic,
