triond or hubpages??

I have recently found these two websites. They pay you for submitting articles. At triond you get about 50 per cent of ad revenues. I read somewhere that with hubpages it is more. But I'm not really sure. Have you anybody tried...

laurenfuzz I've recently joined triond...and earned nothing. do you have to sign up to get paid first? which way is better, paypal or check? has anyone even tried checking?
