When did your child begin to walk?

I have a 13 month old and he does not walk yet. I am not concerned as my husband and I were both late walkers and the Dr. is not concerned yet either. I am just curious at what age did your child start walking on their own?

litlsisof4 Thanks! We do a lot of walking with him. He loves to be walked around but if you try easing up he will stop.

litlsisof4 Most of the babies in our family have not walked that early. My son has a very good Doctor, If he is not walking on his own at his 15 month visit he will be sent to a specialist but I really do think he is close.

litlsisof4 He is taking steps with help just not walking on his own. I think it is currently more of a courage issue. He has developed early in other areas too.
