littlen Not all air purifiers use the same technology. If air ionizers are bar for you, you can safely use ozone air purifiers, HEPA filters, carbon purifiers. You can check more here:

littlen Yes, vinegar helps against cigarette odor. you just need to pour some on a saucer and put in the room. It will take the odor. another very effective advice is - buy an ozone generator (like this one http://air-cleaner-systems.com/). They clean odors and smoke...

Air Cleaners

How many of you use air purifiers or filters in your home? My dad has several that he uses and the amount of dust that he collects on the filters inside the house is immense and he swears by them.

littlen We are using an air purifier at home, too, like the one on this site: http://air-cleaner-systems.com/ (Honeywell picture in the right column). And it is amazing how much dust it is collecting, if not for the filter, all that would be in our lungs!
