When I was studying my parents and relatives usually told me that having a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship would just affect my studies. And I always answer them that it depends on the person if you'll let yourself be affected...

llobregat1 Well, there are people with have a boyfriend/girlfriend that are very happy for that, and then they can study more becasue his life is wonderful
