I was watching tv this morning and they were talking about abusive parents. Is it okay to hit kids. and if it is to what point.

you know the one i mean, most likely from an aunt or a grandparent. this year i got a metal tin as a present from my great nan..i thought whats this? and could only hope it would either be alcoholic or something for my greatest...

I find this so sad. Its just been reported on IOL.co.za. Why did they have to show the graphic details on TV? Or is this negligence from the parents...
