Is it normal for a laptop to get very hot/warm?

Good day mylotters. I have a laptop which is 6 months old now. Although I'm not into gaming anymore nowadays, I feel its palm rest getting hot already which made me wonder what exactly is this Asus "Ice Cool Technology" stands...

lyoko111111 Yes i believe it's quite normal in some conditions as my laptop in this moment is burning me :D ,but that program you used that showed these signs seems good and working so the best answer is to go to a specialist and he will tell you for sure.
