inked4life I tried to do it myself the first couple of times and cut a little too deep which hurt her, so now I just leave it to the groomers. I haven't heard that about the frequency of cutting nails making the quick shorter...I'll need to remember and ask the groomer...

shalwani Most dogs do not like having their toenails trimmed. Start trimming toenails in young animals so that they get used to the process. Some dogs will happily sit in your lap or on a table while you trim their nails but many require some form of restraint....
