During our one week stay in Ireland, I noticed that the Irish does not seem to get along with the British. What is the reason that despite they are neighbors and talk the same language, there seems to be a hidden "animosity"...

marddyy1 george85. why do you call yourself an irish american ? I have never heared anyone say they were an english american ! you can be irish or american unless you have dual nationality. maybe you could arrange for texas to be given back to mexico who seeded it to...

marddyy1 oh yes.... I forgot to add a comment about the catholics being persecuted and churches burned etc., in ireland. you need to look around europe at the time, catholics across the continent were murdering protestants across the continent (look at the massacre...

marddyy1 I think it is right to remember. I am english and proud of it....not about what we have done in our past along with many other countries. the usa wiped out more people with 2 atom bombs but that was ok ? china and russia killed millions of thier own and...

marddyy1 17 and you can't see past it ! what a waste of your time. I had family killed by ira and I could hate, maybe I could go to kilburn and kill the irish there ? what a stupid stupid little boy (or girl) you must be.

marddyy1 Not sure where you get your facts from......,those we call irish now are from various groups/tribes in the past including scots,vikings, icelanders and other groups that followed such as normans, flemish, bretons !!! I could go on... everyone was at...
