New "Contactless" cards are coming soon that don't require a PIN or swiping through a reader..the idea is they have a low purchase limit (£10 for the UK issue),so they'd be ideal for your morning paper or coffee,a bus ticket,or...

maricor_arlos I wish Canada is planning to do it as well. I think it will be very useful but wouldn't it push people to spend more?

maricor_arlos I've been in Canada for only 3 and a half years but have grew up in the Philippines. I believe that Canada has a good election process. But Philippines? Probably the worst I've seen in my entire life. They don't really look at the qualities of the candidates....
