Do you believe that you will be rewarded if you did a good thing?

It is a general question, and would it be a truth? Some religion believe that if you done a good thing toward somebody or a group of people, you might be rewarded. Even though you didn't ask for the reward. Would you believe it?...

maricrispy common sense is all we need to understand that by doing good one is rewarded. it's so practical! besides religion teaches us that we should do good things. it is written in the bible and i for one believe it. didn't God said that He is the ALpha and the Omega!...
