How do you get rid of dandruff?

I thought using anti dandruff shampoos such as head and shoulders regularly would solve this problem. But the result is, i lost some of my hair and now some silver hairs on my head. What way can i remove dandruff? Is natural...

meliwicks cool - I used CLEAR anti-dandruff shampoo for some time, too. but maybe it's better to not use anti-dandruff shampoos very frequently, as they can dry the hair.
