Back yard dogs

Which would you say is worse: having a dog tied to a tree in the yard, goes on a walk occasionally and gets talked to daily, or a dog that's running loose in the yard and never gets attention?

kiran8 Hi welcome to mylot , I feel that one can easily strike a balance by tying up the dog during day time , taken for a walk twice a day and also leave him free at night . thats what we do and for us he is very much part of our household since once...
