mewtonx I find that I cannot make a lot of friends quickly because I tend to shy away from people due to lack of self-confidence. Perhaps you will be more outspoken and well liked if you show confidence?

mewtonx Not sure, but where I'm from we treat guests very well and we offer them snacks and stuff that we may have at home. So perhaps they're just trying to make you feel at home. Perhaps they do not know of your condition and are just trying to play a good host.
