Why are people obsessed with making suicide a crime?

I find it odd that something like suicide should be a crime. I mean you are only prosecuted if you fail since if you don't you are dead and they cannot touch you so really we are only prosecuting people who failed to kill...

MissIndependent24 I think there are two different issues here to your comment: if someone has just murdered their family and then tries to kill themselves, I defintely believe that it should be considered a crime, and that person be put in jail. That person is trying to use...
