missinfected I would say that the first time I was in love was when I was 20 and dating this guy who was just average looking, but who was affectionate, loyal and loving. We had this emotional bond. I've had dated others before him, but I was only infatuated with them.

missinfected I'm half chinese (my mother is), so I read and write mandarin fairly well. I come from a society where most of my friends' mother tongue is chinese =P I think Japanese and tamil are much harder though..
