I am absolutely scared to death to have a natural delivery. Although I do plan to have an epidural. I also plan to ask my Dr, if I have a choice, or if c-section is a last resort only.... I've been told that it's not childbirth...

Hutch3071 Whoever told you that a c-section is not childbirth is just plain stupid in my opinion. What else are they going to call it? Your baby is born either way!! I had a c-section, an emergency one admittedly but I don't think it was any less a miracle because...

jayarajgr The question is, are you married? If yes is the answer discuss this with your partner and get his views on this. Watching some videos will defenitely help. I guess its painful, but there are plenty of ladies going for it, in fact the majority of them.

mythmoh i would always go for natural birth.though it is painful at that time but the recovery time is very much less in natural birth.i had natural birth and i insisted mydoctor to try for that to the last minute.There are lot of restrictions like you should not lift...

anja31 For both my children I had a c-section. Naturally birth is easier after. To recover from a c-section takes weeks. Dont worrie about a naturally birth, I would not harm you baby.

MandiGUrl just so you know if you plan on having a big family a c-section is the last thing you want most doctors will not do more then 3 c-sections because it affects your body so badly...i had one not by choice but i was fine with it once you go into labor the whole...

theresak I had a natural birth (w/epidural) I would definatly prefer that. I was more scared of getting an episiodomy than anything, fortunatly I didn't need one. I was also scared of labor through my whole pregnancy. My fears were lessened when I took a prepared...
