Do I get paid to upload videos to You Tube?

Just like Google's adsense is You Tube another place where I can earn for uploading videos. I heard that one gets paid based on number of views. Is it true?

5mayday it would be great if we can earn some from youtube, but from what I know we cannot earn anythng by uploading video there... althogh it's still a new website to share things with other and find the stuffs you want to see there.
