How to keep flowers fresh for a longer time ?

I like to buy fresh flowers for the house,but somehow they just die in a days time. I would love to love to keep the flowers alive for a longer time, say a day or two more. Fresh flowers are as it is expensive, and throwing them...

mjmary Hi Flowers can be kept fresh for a longer period by cutting the stem in a slanting way. Adding sugar or an aspirin to the water also helps. Change the water daily and add a pinch of fresh sugar Doing this keeps them alive for double the time

graduating, school, last bell

Today is a happy and sad day for me. Two of my forms 9 and 11 have finished school and it was their Last Bell today (it's the last day they studied at school). When I saw them all I realized that I would miss them very much though...

mjmary Reading this graduating, school, last bell brought back memories of school days for me.We would have these send offs for the class ten and twelve and the juniors would organise it.Only when I came to the same class did I realize that is is indeed sad to leave...
