As disgusting as it sounds to us, it's very common for a dog to eat it's own poop, or dip into the cat's litterbox. It's a natural behavior that they learn from their mother, who will eat the puppy's feces to keep the den clean....

mkcd1973 He did have a yeast infection in one of his ears but believe it or not he wasn't scratching his ear. The vet gave me some drops to put in his ear and it cleared up within a matter of days. But he doesn't smell like yeast.
