Removing virus without using any antivirus?

i had once heard about removing viruses from our computer without using any anti-virus applications. is there any way to do it?if anyone knows about it then tell me through commenting in this discussion.

nielsccian yes it is possible. Work on the registry. It depends on a virus. Different kind of virus has a different way to remove it.

nielsccian You can do nothing if the cursor is not moving, unresponsive. Simply long pressing the power button will solve the hang up problem but you might lost the unsaved files. To prevent this: check the silicon paste in your processor/heat sink. Clean the...
