Why it's hard to TELL the TRUTH?

For me It's hard to tell the truth because I'm afraid to face the consequences and I'm not yet ready. And I'm scared to lose something that I truly value. How about you, what do you think, why It's hard to tell the TRUTH?

nush21 I believe it is just because truth hurts sometimes and We are human beings after all and sometimes we can find ourselves not ready to say the truth. However, if we do not say the truth we can also loose a relationship.
