Male dog not going pee

My dog just got him from the county pound and he was neutered yesterday about 12 noon . When we brought him home yesterday he peed at about 6 pm .He has been drinking water but hasn't urinated since yesterday. Called the pound...

Madison Watrous the dog might be sore, also the medications they used to put him to sleep while they did surgery can affect his bodily functions for up to a week. He should be piddling a little bit within 24 hours, hopefully by now he's feeling better
