Hey guys.. Don't u think the movie should have had a better ending rather than those 300 soldiers dying.. Were their efforts in vain???

onedayin I think They knew they had to die so all of the city states in Greece would go to war like at the end when there are moreof them since Persians had trouble with 300 think about 40,000

This is one of the famous lines in 300. Whenever I watch 300 again and here this line, It gives me goosebumps. One of the best movie dialogue that I have ever heard People, please feel free to give me your opinon about this...
