I think that the letters R A B is Regalus Black....... but he may also be Snape........ J.K.Rowling never mentioned his wizarding name in any book.......It was a shock 4 us when we knew he was the HALF BLOOD PRINCE...may be now he...

otherwise i don't think that the letters R.A.B means Regalus Black because he is dead ...and his name don't have the letter A SEVERUS SNAPE is name of "Snape" ...:-?
