RPG games! Are they better?

I am a hardcore RPG gamer. I dont care about the system or graphics, I like the thinking and the stories. I know what I like, what do all of you out there think the best game type is?

paradisooscuro I love RPG games. RPG games are the best type of game for me. Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 and Planescape Torment, old but fantastic game. Now i like The Witcher and Mass Effect, with more action but with a great story.
