Kittens and sick kids

I wonder how many Doctors who have to deal with sick kids every think of telling the parents that when a child is sick and has to stay in bed a lot the best thing they can do is get the kid a kitten. There is nothing funner then...

MOMMASAM oh, would i have loved to have you for my mother when i was a child. yes, a kitten would definitely take the child's mind off of laying in bed and not feeling well. an introduction to a friend for life.

tiariadesira I have 3 cats and they all are about 4 years old, and when ever my mom, brother or I get sick they always come and cuddle up to us. And they are usually very hyper cats. So i say yes cats are the best.
