paullaura I belive that you can have a check sent to your house, even if yu don't have a bank account, a credit card, or anything esle. As far as I know, all you need is an address.

using your computer in a thunder storm

paullaura if the power goes out, the computer turns off in the wrong way. This won't fry the computer the first time, but if it happens often, it could put extra wear and tear on the computer.
