Prolonged pain after flu shot (as in 4 weeks and counting)

I received a flu shot way too high on my arm. The site of the shot was at the end of my collar bone. The shot was more painful than flu shots that I'd had in the past and about 3 hours later I was having quite a bit of pain...

PictureThisChris A similar thing happened to me this year. I received my flu shot at the top of my arm nearest my shoulder. It was extremely sore the day following the shot, and the soreness has persisted for upwards of 3 weeks. It especially hurts when I lift my arm normally...
