pilsberry22 I breastfed my 1st for 4 1/2months and my 2nd to 6 months. My milk dried up with both of them after returning to work. I wanted to breastfeed to at least 1 year. I am a nurse and could not pump often enough at work to be able to maintain a good milk supply....

pilsberry22 Most likely it is a latch problem from the sound of it. You have to get that corrected before the soreness will go away completely. Make sure he is opening him mouth really wide then pull him into you. If he does not get on and it is painful then take him off...
