why people keep smoking?

according to you, what the main reason why people keep smoking? however they had known that this is may cause diseases like lung cancer?

polo_boi I'm not sure why but this is probably the several hundred thousandth time I said that I was going to quit smoking over 10 years. Luckily this is the closest I've gotten to kicking the habit...1 or 2 every so many days and hopefully I just won't smoke ever...
