yes it is useful, i use it all the time for my website, its all free but limited, its good for a small website but if you plan to go pro, you can still use bravehost but they will charge a little and its worth it because you get a lot more options.
It isn't the same as My lot, it has tools and hosting for web masters.
If you would like more information about website you can send me a message, i have designed many before. :)

for pay hosting it is some what costly. i think u should search for other options for hosting purpose.

Yes, I have been using it for years and it's very useful. I have used various facets, but mostly use the counter features. But, I have also used the news feature and guestbooks. They have scaled down a little bit on the free version in the last few years, but still have plenty of features. One thing to watch out for, be sure to watch your emails for "updates". These might include changes in codes and the like. I remember them changing their codes and I had to go back on my website and change all the counters and features I had there. But, that has only happened once.

I have never used them as a website host, I use angelfire.com, but I have used them for counters and guestbooks. I think they are good because they provide hosting, and a lot of accessories to add to your site. It is not the same as mylot because I don't believe they have a forum and they obviously don't pay you to post ;). Have a nice day.
