what is happiness?

some people have enjoyed occasions when they succeeded in whatever they were involved with during that period. but then there were more number of occasions when people feel disappointed and sad. sometimes i wonder what is reall happiness? spiritual pursuit sometimes confuses the view of happiness. it's different from enjoyment in general. does short term happiness conflict with the long term view of happiness? being comfortable with yourself, your situation, and accepting everything at that moment - it's also the excitement, the awe and wonder of just being alive brings. being thankful also has a lot to do with being happy..overall, i know it's a simple yet complex question...i'm not even sure if my view satisfies me, lol!

hmm i dont know what i have to say but i hope that you will get what i mean..
"if you seek happiness, happiness will just ellude you.but if you seek God, happiness will just find you".
once happiness found you, it will become as part of your memories,as part of your life. because of it, happiness is everlasting, it has no end..that is a true happiness..you cherish that memories.
