Dose anyone ever wake up with headaches like 5 out of 7 days a week? I don't know whats up with my head but i have had that problem for a few years now I have been to the doctors about this and they say it might have to do with high blood pressure but they say mine is only alittle high i had a cat scan and all that good stuff and have tried diffrent doctors but i still have headaches anyone else have this problem? Let me know if there is anything I can do to help them thank you.

As a massage therapist, there are many reasons for having the headaches or migraines. One may be from stress and your lifestyle or it could be spasms from muscles that is referring to the head that is causing the headaches. I suggest you go to a massage therapist and get it checked, or even go to a Chinese medicine doctor to get your body organ systems balanced out. Just make sure you find a qualified Chinese medicine practioner. Good luck.

One thing... Taking meds are good, but most of the time they only fix the sympotms, not get to the source. I suggest you get to the source of the headaches.

Depending on which state you live in, All Chinese medicine practioners should have a registered license. I know L.A.'s practioners are registered. I suggest looking up on the internet for Chinese medicine associations in your state and find practioners in your area. Or ask around. Good luck.

I suffered bad headaches a few years ago. Not as bad now. Went to a neurologist, CT scan, all that good stuff as well. I got a great scrip from the neurologist, generic is called Migrin-A. It's a souped up Tylenol basically. I couldn't take anything that would "alter me" lol like a downer or give me a buzz for work. It had acetaminophen, a vaso constricter, and a mild sedative. It worked great, and no side effects for me. Only problem, I had to pretty much eat it like candy for awhile. Do a search on headaches, they've given a lot of names to different types now. For expample cluster headaches-feel like someone's stabbing you in the head with an ice pick...those are fun lol. Also, maybe your dehydrated, that'll cause headaches. Try drinking a glass of water before bed, and first thing when you wake up and see if that helps. As long as the dr has pretty much ruled out like a tumor or something, I'd guess(from my experiences) it's more like you said, high blood pressure, dehydration, stress, or even depression. Try to stay away from Tylenol and such too, you can actually become dependent on those, and have withdrawals-when you don't take it you end up with a headache. Seems sometimes you just can't win....Good luck and hope you figure it out!

Forgot to add, another med the neurologist used for me was called nortriptylene-it's actually an antidepressant, but used for chronic pain. He just kept slowly upping my dosage until I no longer had headaches. Just a thought....
