for ladies, do you maintain long or short nails?

i used to have short nails but the dirt still makes it in... now i have long nails, about quarter of an inch for each finger, and for me it don't usually have dirt and it makes me easier to maintain it... i don't know why? ;)

lol..is that really possible?hehe..i thought that i fyou have longer nails u tend to have more dirt on it..but i guess it's easy for u maintaining a longer one..well as for me..i usually have short nails because i have a little baby whom i always bath and groom..in short i dont want her getting scratches and wounds just because of my long nails..so i keep my nails short always..
