Is anybody here RUNNING OUT OF THINGS TO SAY??

I have reached the 500 level here in mylot and to tell you the truth, in more than a month of posting here, there really are times when I log in and I fall out blank. I can't seem to think of a good discussion to start and sometimes, I also cant seem to comment on some posts. I can't seem to find the excitement that I had here when I was a newbie.
So I would just want to know: is there somebody out here who feel the same way I do?
Am I being bored or is it just normal for me to feel this way?
Please do share what's in your mind. If you have a solution to this concern, please tell me.

I must say that you're not the only one here who feels that way. I'm only at 300 level, but I have those same bouts every once in a while. I can't think well in starting a good discussion with the apprehension that I will not get responses for it. Sometimes I feel too tired to post because I can't find a discussion that I like. But the again, after a day or two, I'm up and about again and in the mood. I guess the key is to keep yourself interested and motivated in mylotting. To keep the fire burning, so to speak. Most of us here post to earn, we see a lot of posts on how they are earning well by exerting a little more effort, and I find them all inspiring. Maybe it will do you well if you take a breather when you feel bored. Don't push yourself as you might lose the flame altogether.

i think its normal since i have also experience that. i just recently came back here just only this month when i had the enough time to post. The 2nd month since i joined this site i would admit i have run out words to say like i was infront of the computer but nothing to write. I was so drained ...lol im glad when i came back just this month i have my brain with me..hehehe

Thanks or confirming that again. I think all this thing goes parallel with a discussion which I also started asking: do you start or do you respond to discussions? It's easy for newbies to make a new discussion but older members find it difficult.
Thanks for this response!

Here, here! There are days when I'm really lazy and my mind will complete go blank to participate in discussions. I think it's normal for people to go blank sometimes, evern writers sometimes experience what people call 'writers block" so don't be too hard on yourself, that's normal.

Here, here? Are you a debater? LOL
I just asked because debaters do that 'here, here' thing when they agree on a notion.
With all your responses, I am deeply convinced that what I am feeling is indeed normal and as per you response, even writers experience the same.
Thanks for this response!

Well I am really wishing that you could 'freshen-up' in posting here in mylot so we could all participate. I think I am just set to answer to some new discussions for now like many of the people here and I believe I'm doing just OK.
Thanks for this response!

I think we all go thru these spurts when there are times we do not have much to say, nor feel like posting on here much. I have been a member here since October, and personally, I go thru streaks of when I answer on here, and when I do not. Lately I am in an answer mode again and trying to see if I can earn a decent amount on here again. But there are months I have had to push myself to make at least $10 on here. The Good thing about this site is if you do need to take a Break from posting here for a bit, this site will continue to be here for you when you come back.

I always have that blankness since I have been here for almost five months and yeah shortage for words is just a normal for this kind of site.
Well all I do when I feel that I'm running out or words I just log out and try to do other thins that will suppressed this boredom. I think another day means another something to talk about and having another experience means so much things to talk about so another way to overcome this running out is to go out and have other fun thing to do.

Howdy, vesuvius, how are you doing? You are right! I have trouble thinking of discussions as well, and I haven't asked many at all. However I think that is the best way to get money, bu tI just cannot think of any good ideas. I have been answering peoples' discussions because I cannot think of my own. Plus I still get money for responding, right? I am trying to think of some good discussions topics that I can use. Have a nice day.

Hey, you are awesome! 500 in a month? I always run out of things to say! A lot of times I open mylot and nothing, just nothing interests me at all. I guess it's just a mood. It's that crazy mood that keeps me from achieving the 500 goal. All i can say is keep up the good work!

Thanks for thinking that my posting is awesome. I know a lot more people here who post 200 in a week and some of them are my mylot friends - those people always have something to say. Lucky them indeed.
Now I really know that what I am feeling is just normal.
Thanks for confirming it further and I hope you could find motivation to push you through the 500 level!

Sometimes I do. It depends on the day. Some days I have nothing to say and I dont start any discussions. But usually I can always find a post to respond to, I like responding. It seems like when I am feeling bored/tired I have a harder time starting discussions. So it isn't just you!

Same here vesuvius. Sometimes i go to some discussions and found out that i don't have anything to say about the topic. My other forums probably help me in bringing new topic here in Mylot.

If you are running out of things to say then try to find a discussion that interests you. When you goto search for a discussion, type something that you want to talk about. This is what keeps me on Mylot and it works all the time. For example, I like pizza so I will find discussions about pizza and give my opinion. You said that you can't seem to find the excitement that you had here when you were a newbie. For me it was quite the opposite. I didn't know where to start and I didn't have much to say. Sometimes it is normal to feel bored if you have been on here long enough. There are times at which I can't stay focused on Mylot. Hope this helps!

That's exactly what I am doing now and I think I'm doing just OK here now. I always try to 'refresh' my motivation here.
Part of your comment suggests that there indeed are different kinds of people here in mylot - there are those who find excitement when they are newbies (like me) and others who think otherwise (like you). But no matter what, I really hope we can still enjoy this site!
Thanks for this response!

There are days when I find it very difficult to find the motivation to continue here, but then I look at my friends discussions and start to read. There are usually a few good discussions to get involve in and then I find my motivation is restored. It is normal to have *off* days here, but you will find them getting fewer after a while

Well, you have just given me one great comforting comment because at least, I now know that there's somebody else that feels almost exactly the same.
Thanks for this response and thanks for confirming that what I am feeling is normal!
Happy posting and I hope we can all find more interesting discussions to enter!

It very hard to think of a worthy discussion. other people are actually recycling some of the discussions. But because they have a lot of friends it still getting responses. Even nonsense topics.
I just go to discussions with no responses.. and respond to almost everything there. this is how came out with your discussion

'Recycled posts' woud be a good description for what I have also noticed here - some discussions here seem to repeat over and over again. Well, I think it's completely understandable because there are almost 88000 minds involved in this forum so it's expected that there'll be matches.
Thanks for this response!
