Sanjaya...the wrong guy for the right show!

I understand where you are coming from. I think it is just that he acts the part of the theme each week. Everyone wonders how he is going to look each week. Nevertheless, his vocals were so bad last night that I think for sure he will be in the bottom three tonight and may even be sent home - if he does I won't be surprised.

I'll be honest yes the boy can sing, but I agree he is not an American Idol type. His voice is too soft, but he somehow manages to keep the audience going, and maybe because he is not afraid to branch out with a new look each week and try new things, that may be the reason people vote for him. Even the judges don't want him there. Usually it is up to the voters to decide. But yes he brings some spice to the show, I guess that is what people love about him. I don't want him as the next Idol, but it is up to those who vote to decide what the fate of all the contestants are. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I think Sanjaya is just riding the wave of controversy that has been created because of him. He con sing okay, but I would not say that he has a great voice. He is too soft and too bland to actually ever make it as a serious singer, at least right now. I think there are just way too many people who want to mess with the show and add the teeny boppers who are in love with Sanjaya and you have people voting for him for the wrong reasons. This is a singing competition and he should have been gone qutie a few weeks ago. He was so horrible last night that I sure hope that he goes home tonight. It will be long over due when he does actually go homw, that's for sure.
