have you really found help here at mylot? i have

I have found a lot of help here, and even been able to offer a little to others too. =) I've discovered a lot of people from mylot who have been through a lot of the same things I have, and it's helped me in coping. I'va also found a lot of people on mylot who can teach me about things I don't know a lot about, and people who have offered advice to me. I've discovered that mylot has given me a place to rant sometimes, a place to connect with others, and a place to get new perspectives on situations. I have helped a few people on mylot, in providing information about something they didn't know about, directing them to proper authorities about an issue, and even donating money to charitable causes they were working on.

I have found a release for my need to give information and I have also found that I have been helped in some instances where I was wondering if I were doing the right thing. I love to give help where I can. I want to make up for some of the things I did when I was younger.

I shall pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again. I've learned some things here too girl. I only hope I given back as much as I get.

I have the same idea with you. Since I came here several weeks ago, I found it's a worthwhile to be here, not only for the money, but for ideas. Members here all come from different places, with different personalities, knowledge, minds. To exchange ideas here is of great advantage. As for a foreigner, it might enrich his or her culture knowledge for a certain country. As for those who asking for help, Mylotters are so warm-hearted to show their care. Though I've never asked for help here, I do find how those asking for help are satisfied, cause their problems receive great response. Now, no matter how busy I am, I'll try to spare 1 hour here, posting and reading people's ideas. Best wishes to all mylotters.

I am very similar to your views. I have only been on Mylot for a short while. I was doing it for money but soon realised that is was such fun too. I have met some wonderful, like-minded people; have tried to help some (I hope I did); and been helped myself by the comments received. It really does boost the spirits. The only trouble is I keep having to go and do other things - I will get thin as I don't have time to eat but although I stay up far too late I do have to give in and go to sleep sometimes (not to mention work and housework) !!!

Mylot is a wonderful resource, you can get answers to many life riddles ranging from health, money making, science and technology to religion and sexuality! One of the greatest lesson I learnt recently is that you need to discuss issues of Homoseuality with a lot of sensitivity. You see, I live in a country where Homosexuality does not receive any level of approval! So when I posted a discussion with this mindset, i realized from the responses i got that I was a bit insensitive to differences, I frankly think my attitude about gays is going to change-I will look at them with a new world view-like different but fellow human beings with full rights to do what is good for them!

I haven't really sought help here on mylot that much but I am sure if I had done so, I would had a lot people willing to help. As far as I am concerned, I always try to make a positive contribution to the discussions that I participate in, no matter how big or small that contribution may be.

After a days work i am always alone and i have nobody to share my development, success or even frustrations for that day and this is where mylot had helped me. I can be with somebody and that somebody is the mylot family. Now i don't feel alone, i felt that i am always with people who has brains, who always willing to share what they got in any way they can. I can see that almost all people here are friendly and knows how to respect each other. This is what we call a real family. If they won't agree with somebody's post then they can say it in a way that can't hurt. Soooo those are the things that mylot had helped me.... and before i forgot i also had been helped to have an extra amount that i can spend with. thanks mylot and thank you all people who are here. Let us continue to grow and share what we can. God bless us all!

I've been here for a little while now and can honestly say that I have found some wonderful people on here. The help and support I have received has been amazing and the discussions and day to day chatter is great. I have learnt a lot of new things and found a lot of new friends too.

Yes I have and you are one. Most of the people are so special that I would love to meet them in person. So come to Florida and we can have a Ice tea!!

easymoney ~ I too feel that there are some really great people on here. I have read so many great discussions on here. There are some that have actually brought tears to my eyes. Not to be corny or anything. It is just the truth. ;0) So many people talk about so many different things, and most of them at some point will go out of their way to try and reach out and touch someone in some kind of personal way. And I for one think it is a great thing. I try to do so when I can. I don't want to step on people's toes, and overstep bounds, so I try to be careful in what I say. But if I really feel like I can help that person by offering some sound advice then I will most definitely do so. I don't see why I shouldn't. We have all been through some tough times in our lives and needed some help. Why shouldn't we try to give some help when we can? I believe in Kharma in a way. What goes around comes around and what you put out there will come back to you in the end. And even if it doesn't I will walk away from the encounter feeling like I did something for someone else that was good, kind, and decent. ;0) Sorry to be so long winded. lol This discussion kind of touched a nerve because there are so many people on here ragging on everyone else that they just don't stop to think that there are a lot of other people on here that are trying to find help and solace for their problems. And there are a lot of other people on here that are trying to give their help to them self-same people. It is just frustrating. Hope you have a good day and thank you for the great discussion!

same way here. i found some truthful friends here in mylot who would give me sound advices. i noticed that people dont just post anything, but they only post stuffs which have sense! and they seem to be truthdul and sincere in their responses. though pay outs in my lot is pretty small. i am staying here because i enjoy it here. people are warm, nice and friendly. they are really there ready to help you. give advices and good ones.:)

Yes, I have. I got some good information when I thought I was having a bout of food poisoning. I was also reminded how (from a fellow Dubliner who is at Mylot) we can't allow a few bad apples locally to spoil how we feel about our community, and that we certainly shouldn't let them change how we live.

Yes I have found real help here on mylot, and I love it I have had a lot to do with my health, my family and I have found a lot of support to get me through these hard times and also the times for rejoicing and I have also learnt a lot it is incredible really what you can learn from others, as well as what I could help them to understand their own lives and also to feel that when they are going through bad times that they also have a lot of supporting friends I believe that when you are not alone that you can accomplish more than thinking that you are all by yourself.

yaa, i have got many times.i started some discussions when i had really problem. I got some very nice and helpful answrrs from fellow mylotters. what to say, they were really helpful for me. But there are such also where i have got no response.

I have really found help here in mylot because some of the members here help me by response to my discusions and also suggest, or advice me.And its a very good thing that i like here in mylot.

It would be a grave lie if i answer know, i have received help from my friends in every manner i needed all i had to do was let them know my problem , so in the cause i also try to help my friends out here as much as i can , hope to help them with all i can..

i hoping that mylot will help me a little bit in my finacially needs.. this is my first time to join in a group helping their member .. by giving some discussion and answering them while you doin it you can earn money..
