Found Money!!

wow-that's a nice find! :) the only money i've found in this house is old money. i just found a morgan dollar (1880) under a floor board while cleaning.i imagine it's worth something though.

this happens to me often, last winter when i took out my coat i found 5 dollars in it. a few years back i was in coege. i was cleaning all the pappers off my computer table and i found $50. that was a great day.

Lucky you, I wish I could be that lucky at the moment, I could really do with finding some money right now. I usually go to charity shops to see if I can find bargains and the other year I was lucky enough to find a really nice handbag, just the thing I was looking for. I only paid £1 for it and took it home feeling very pleased with myself. That evening I decided to start using the new bag, so I began to transfer stuff into the bag when I noticed there was a small zipped section on the side. Great, I thought, I can use that for my driving licence and when I unzipped the pocket there was a £10 note folded up inside.

That is wonderful!! Now you have to spend it on something you weren't planning on since it was a surprise. I have never found that much but from time to time I find $5 or $10 stashed some place I had forgotten about. Today must be your lucky day!!

wow.... thats lucky!!! you know i keep money here and there few bucks!!! as i love it when i get such surprise... and my hubby knows if we urgently need few bucks where to find... he will dig my cupboard and pockets!! and i love to see that too!! so in short i never am bankrupt...lol

well i don't find as much as you but i always seem to find some money when i look through a wallet or when i move furniture around you feel great once you find a small little bit of money somewhere.

typ it happen sometimes then we are delighted and feel lucky :-)

hehe .....well many times ...i am a very forgetfull person ..like i keep my money on unsual places and then find them astonishingly some where ....like in my very old clothes ...even very large amount sometimes ...i could not figure out if this is a bad habbit or good but it is ...and i feel sometimes that this must not happen but it usually happens... well before washing my clothes i usually found some money in my pocket. ....it is bad really bad ...!! what do you think about this habbit ? ...is this good or bad ?

Lucky, Lucky :):) I actually had something like that happening last summer. Our daughter was going to Portugal to stay with my mom for a year, and I had $100 that I wanted to give to her at the airport, but I must have forgotten because I found that money just last week in my old backpack. Just before her birthday too, so I sent it to her LOL

this happened more to my husband about a week ago. we were on our way to one of the malls and we were not able to withdraw cash from the atm. we only have the exact amount to reach the mall and just withdraw there. when he started to look into his pocket for his cellphone, he felt something was in it. when he checked it, he found out that he has php350 in his side pocket. his short was already laundered and ironned, the laundry woman was not even aware that he has money on it. at the mall, we bought the money with cinema tickets. untimely money for untimely movie watching :) indeed God provides.

It happened to me many times I often find bills on the pockets of my pants while washing it with my bare hands. Its a blessing in disguise and it could help me at times that I need the money. Its feels so good to find that money just safely hidden there .

I found $20 in the pocket of an old coat last spring. That was a nice surprise. I don't imagine I'd forget about $100 though. That's lucky! :) Maybe I should hurry up on that spring cleaning and see what I discover?

Yes, I have not found as much money as you did, but when going through the seasons clothes and switching them out, I usually find 10 or 20 dollars. I also find loose change and dollar bills almost every time I do laundry. My husband is bad about not emptying his pockets. We started a piggy bank from the laundry money and we usually use it to go out to a new place and have dinner as a family. The loose change that we find when we move furniture, or that we take out of our pockets everyday is becoming "mad money". We have been placing it in a kitty litter bottle and when it is full we will take it in and see how much we have. We are hoping to have enough for a small vacation, where our son will choose the place to go. tdbrower1969

Yeah...that has happened to me a couple of times. Usually...like you I find money in my pockets...because I have different jackets...purses etc. It is so nice to find money you didn't know you had. I hope you go and buy yourself something nice for spring...

I bought a couch from a garage sale many years ago. After bringing it home I removed all the cushions and covers. I grabbed the vaacuum cleaner to suck all the crud that collects down the edges. As I reached down to open the gap with my hand I found a yellowed old 20 dollar bill. It had been there for some time. So I got an instant rebate? Hahahaha. Thanks for sharing your story. LOL I love when that happens!! I had lost my wallet when I was around 7 or 8 years old and when I was about 15 my uncle was digging in my couch (he had dropped something and was digging for it) and found my wallet! LOL It had about $17 bucks in it and I thought it was hilarious! Also, I've found $20 dollar bills in my pants pockets and jacket pocket and stuffed deep down in my wallet all folded up many many times! LOL I should probably keep track of my money better! LOL Congratulations!

What a great way to be rewarded for cleaning. I've found a few dollars before,but never that much. Congrats on your find.

Right before I got married to my husband, I had my own apartment which I lived in by myself. One day I was packing all my things up right before I moved out and I found almost four hundred dollars in a dresser drawer. I have no idea how long it had been there and I totally forgot that I ever put it away. Needless to say, that made my day!

Sometime i found money in my jeans, i forgot when i put the money there but when i want to wear it i found my money there. I have a lot of wallets because i'd like to changes sometimes, sometime i found my money in my other wallets too. And the most unpredictable place is i found money in my old school book when i'm in elementary school.But i can't use that money again, just for my memory.
