Anger

Anger - The photo shown here is a typical person when they are angry. For me, a comic is much more realistic as people who are angry are normally stupid and weak. In my humble opinion.

Why are people so angry all the time? I often (more so online) run into people that seem to have major anger problems. Maybe they do it to feel better about themselves? I have no idea why. My father was always an angry person. I know drugs like cocaine can cause someone who is normally angry, more angressive. I have dealt with this before. I just can't seem to understand this. They have the need to put down people for no reason. No reason at all! This one time too, my husband was punched in the face after going to some bar one night a long time ago. FOR NO REASON. No reason at all! This kid just felt like it! He had 3 other guys with him. My husband got a black eye from it. I just don't understand. Any thoughts? Any of your stories? Anger is a big issue...

I believe society as a whole has become more aggressive and beligerant, primarily to the *yob culture* element. My partner and I have been the victims of some of this, coming home from our local goth club we were surrounded and derided because of our clothes. Ok, it wasn't pleasant but we just walked on until the yobs got fed up but it could easily have turned nasty. I know we all get angry sometimes, I admit to having a temper sometimes too, but there are ways of controlling your anger, it doesn't need to spill over and affect others around you.

Anger is one of the 7 sins. It is not easy to control anger. One has to practice to control it. One can folow some simple strategies in this respect. I have found that when one is angry, take a small walk or count till 20-30 or take a glass of water or do some other little exercise. The point is to let anger some other outlet to pass through. There are many reasons for being angry. Other's behaviour, things not moving according to one's desire, depression, financial problems, family problems, work related difficulties, girlfrieds, foul treatment from others etc. are some. One has to realize that our world is not perfect and we can do nothing to change what is not within our powers. We can change only what is within us. So it is better to control ourselves. First thing is to assess the reasons for being angry and then try to find the ways of avoiding or tackling it. After all, if one agrees that anger is going to make things worse, one will have better control over anger managment. Best of luck.

Anger is a normal behaviour if it is controlled and doesn't hurt another people. I have heard a proverb that said: "Don't be angry to other people if your anger has no effect to him/her." To control anger people, we have to know the characteristic of him/her. It's important because by knowing it, we can seek the best solution to minimize the anger.

Some people don't know how to deal with stress and they turn to anger. My e had issues with anger, he would drink so much. And it turned to drunken anger, which is worse. He would yell at his family and me, he would hit walls and start fights. Once he threaten me and our unborn child, he said he would kills us if I ever turned my back on him.

It's the world we live in today . It has changed so much. Back in the days when you would pass people in the street you would get a smile and a hello. I think it's because of television and movies Promote violence that it's saying it's okay to lash out your anger.

I'm not sure what's going on with people. I don't know if it's stress and it's coming out as anger? Maybe people are having trouble coping with other problems in their lives so that frustration comes out as anger? I remember watching a show one day about how kids in the U.S. are overindulged and spoiled. Parents give them too much and don't discipline them. As a result, the kids end up being angry. They grow into angry adults. They haven't learned or been taught coping skills? It was an interesting concept. I know when I go to the grocery store I see some really spoiled kids.....they throw tantrums and more often than not the parents give them something or promise them something good to bribe them to be good. When I see things like that I tend to agree with the guys theory.

I wish I knew the answer to this myself. I know people that I have worked with years ago that I had problems with and when I see them they still give me dirty looks. I feel like telling them get over it. That was over a decade ago. I hate people that fight are have anger towards someone. The same goes with my family. My cousin got mad right after grannie's viewing because no one invited her to the dinner that everyone was going to. She should of knew she was welcome. I mean it was for everyone in the family.

Oh I am not angry all the time I only get angry when the other person keeps on and on and on if you know what I mean and then that makes me angry but I prefer if I can get away from that person then I would rather get away and keep myself happy, I do not understand this kind of person at all and life is far too short to keep getting angry. My husband was punched one morning at a bar and I was pregnant at the time well the man that punched him was very sorry as I hit them with the que stick and they never did this again, as this mad me really angry as it was unexpected when they hit my husband. I was ok after that as I was sober and took my husband home along with my other friend.

It is said inour ancient wisdom: 1. THE ANGER IS LIKE POISON. ANGRY PERSON'S WORDS ARE LIKE VENOMOUS SNAKE'S BITES. 2. AN ANGRY PERSON MAKES OTHERS LIFE POISONOUS BUT CREATES ONE'S OWN LIFE LIKE A HELL! This ia really true because it is really harmful!

Anger is an emotion, and it is all right to feel angry. I am sure that everyone here has felt angry at one time or another in his or her lives. The difference is how we deal with the anger that we feel. Some people lash out at others in order to feel more in control. I think that was the case with my ex. He would get angry with me over little things, or even get angry about things not having to do with me, and then go raging around like a maniac.

If you are talking about online peoples mood, i say that is frustration rather than anger. I have seen many people who come online to let their frustration out on some one and feel comfortable. Better to avoid such situations rather than getting into them, that's what i can say. Sorry about what happened to your husband. Choose places where there wont be any troubling people, its not the anger i say , its the frustration and madness caused in their regular life.

some people think if they show anger to show their presence. but they lose the relation or respect from their own family members. They finally became lonely. Angry is the cause for all miseries. One should know how to control it otherwise life will become miserable....

a person's character was developed by listening, watching and specially what kind of environment he had when grew up... Parents are the most influential people to kids... parents should be aware of what they are doing in the eyes of their children coz whatever their children can see from them they will say it's right or it's ok coz my parents are doing it... the older ones should also set as a good example to young ones...we should also practice to have a positive thinking or outlook by choosing right things we can watch or listen to and right books we can read that will surely influenced us... the best book to read is the Bible and the best way to surrender the spirit of angry or other habituals sins is to lay it down before GOD... there's no stone heart in GOD He can easily change us and forgive us but we must have the great desire to change for the better... GOD bless!

I think that those people who are always angry are the poor ones , people who skip meals etc. Here's the explanation to this , when we are hungry we are very emotional , thats why many of us intend to those immoral things to others without thinking.Just look at the under privilege areas in your country almost everyday people there were always angry , fighting each other , even if it is only a simple problem.
