According to Oklahoma Legislature, watermelon is a vegetable. They named watermelon a vegetable so Oklahoma could name it as their state vegetable. That's just wrong if you ask me. I do not think watermelon as a vegetable....

kirthi_krn According botanical sciences .even vegetatbles like brinjal and other vegetables are considered as fruits..but in commn vegeis are those which we cannot eat raw..but i think as we can eat watermelon raw and is sweet its a fruit
