For those of you out there who sells your craft, what are some of the ways you promote your business? I always craft for friends and family, but I am now doing some crafting for profit. I was thinking about doing some brochures this weekend, and dropping them off at some of the grocery stores in my area. Is this a good approach?

I don't promote my crafts but many techniques work for different products.
If there is a crafts fair near you, try splitting the booth / table with someone who has a complementary craft. Many times you get repeat customers that way. Be sure to have business cards that everyone can take with them.
Also, see if there is a gift basket business in your area and they might pay you for including your product in their basdets.

I was selling crafts before here in our country. I went to other companies and introduced my crafts to them and it worked out. I also told my friends to sell my crafts too. If they can sell it they'll earn commisions. Just go on with your idea about making some brochures it really helps to promote your business. You can also post your crafts to the internet. May God bless your craft business
