We all knew the day would come when Sanjaya Malakar would finally get booted from American Idol. He was the most popular contestant ever to grace the show.
He isn't much of a singer but he is well liked.
Do you believe that he can make a great career now that he has had exposure on American Idol?
He will be appearing as a guest on several shows, but will he get a record deal? I don't think so, Or an acting debut, I am not sure about that either.
But commercials and stuff like that, I think he will get, and
do you believe he will be around for a long time or he will just be a flash in the pan, this years sensation, tomorrow's forgotten idol?

Yikes, I don't think he was the most popular. He got on my last nerve and I don't know how he stayed on as long as he did. He may be a nice kid but he really outlasted his welcome. He will still get to go on tour with them. The little kids like him. I think his votes were fixed by people calling in from the Howard Stern fiasco and from the call centers . That was the rumor anyway.

he was the most popular finalist in all the six seasons of the show they said it on tv, the idol show announced it.

oh thank goodness he is out!!! i can't stand him at all. and every time somebody got booted out instead of him, i feel more annoyed of him. i can't understand why most young girls are crazy about him, when in fact, he is gay!!! I guess that after american idol, we won't see him anymore. I hope!

How do you know he is gay? Did he say so? Besides that doesn't mean someone can't think he is cute. My cousin is gay and the ladies still seem to think he is cute even when they know he is gay.

I'm not so sure about that, indeed yes he needs to mature a little but I think he did quite well on certain songs. So if there is another American Idol he may try out for it again and maybe win next time? I don't think people will forget about him so soon since he was the most popular one yet. He may make it and become famous yet. Small wonders never cease to amaze everyone. Flash in the fan? Nope! I don't think we have heard the last of Sanjaya.

when they made the finalist list they cannot come back and try again that was their chance.

I'm not sure what the future holds for him. I'm just glad he didn't win American Idol. He wasn't on there that long because people liked him. He was on there because some sick individuals thought it would be fun to keep him on because they thought he was the worst idol.

Oh the guy with the frizzy old style Michael J air cut?
I couldn't stand him, thankfully I don't watch American idol much. Do you guys have a version of the X-Factor?
If I remember correctly he couldn't sing to well, iffy if he's looking for this area then I wouldn't think so but those who take part in shows like this do often find themselves having 15 mins of fame after, so probably.

I think he may make it big. I mean, a lot of kids really like him. I've seen a thread about how he may make it big if he was on the Disney Channel rather than American Idol. I really think he's likeable and I thought he has a nice voice the first time I saw him in his audition. I think he just needs to be sharpened around the edges and after that, he'd probably be a star though for how long, one can only surmise.

You know as much as I didn't like him (as a singer), I think you are right. I can picture him on a Disney show.
He was too soft and you are right he did need toughened up a bit for show biz. Otherwise he was just a normal teenager who hadn't seen a lot of life yet.

The thing about Sanjaya, is that he's got the voice, but no stage presence whatsoever. He always does the same little movements, always sings with the same tone of voice. I'm sure he can be much better, but i am glad he's the one that left and not Lakeesha. That would've been it man! As for Sanjaya, we'll see what the future holds for him...i mean none of us thought he'd be on that long, and he has...so maybe he'll surprise us all and have an album by the end of the year? Or maybe not..we'll see.

I know how others hate sanjaya but for me he has talent but the problem is he don't know how to use it or let it show. He have charms which is one factor to be in the showbiz business or music industry and he gave that but the talent is just an issue.
Actually I just watch american idol recently and I'm not really after to how good all the contestant sings but what will be the next hairdo of sanjaya.. I know its kind a stupid but I'm not really interested with the whole idea of AI.

Yes we knew that Sanjaya Malakar would get booted one day from American Idol and I am very sad that he did not win this contest as I believe that he should of been the one to win, and now I am not going to watch American Idol as I believe that it is flawed and I did enjoy the music a lot.

I can make it big, he's got talent. I don't trust in acting movies,but commercials can give him a big deal. He will remain for long in the hearts of people.

It's hard to say. He's not untalented, just not as talented as he needs to be to be the next Idol. He may get a record deal out of it..stanger things have happened..but I don't think he will be anything major. I think he would probably have more of a chance getting some kind of acting or spokesperson deal than singing..but again, ya never know. Ya mostly just have to be good looking to be an actor..and he's not a bad looking kid. LOL Whether he's a flash in the pan or goes on to make something of himself remains to be seen..he may surprise everyone.

I could not stand him at all. If it were up to me he wouldn't make it anywhere in the showbiz/music lifestyle. I don't think he should of even stayed on the show that long.
