Relax, chill, hang out, unwind? Oh yeah the things i did before i had kids,i'm just kidding. saturday is my unwind day. But i really spend most of it with my kids playing some game or watching some movie for the 10,000th time. But i don't mind much, my wife says i'm just a big kid anyway.

Yes we all need to relax. Relaxing the body will go along way to improving your physical condition, however the most effective relaxation techiques should combine the relaxing of the body and mind. You should shut out any stressful thought work or home. Try to learn yoga too. God bless!

Hahahahahaha. Thats ok.............ur body is just not used to the twists and turns of yoga, or u probably are trying a more advanced form of yoga(ashtanga, bikram, etc.).These are very advanced.Try Hatha yoga first. The site i gave u ran by Avananda is great if u wanna learn the basic stuff, especially the stress postuires of Hatha Yoga cause these release strain from the body without much pain. Plus when u do yoga, dont force ur body too much. This is not Tae Bo or rigorous excercise.Do the asanas(postures) softly as possible.Plus control the rhythm of ur breathing. Dont do fast, shallow breaths.Do deep and rhythmic breathing. At first this is hard, especially if u smoke like me but in time u will be able to manage ur breathing and simply would feel better. As what the saying goes:
"Life is in the breath" -the Egyptian god Thoth
You can also do tai chi. Tai Chi is excellent cause it combines meditation with physical movement plus the postures and movements are simply rejuvinating

Zer0charly, we are in the same boat! For me, Friday is the best day to unwind while Saturdays and Sundays are the best days for relaxation.

Hi zenucharly........
According to me, the best day to chill and relax is Sunday. I am a college student, So, my weekends are off.
I find Saturday and Sunday very relaxing. Infact, my favourate day is also Sunday because I dont have to do anything on that day. I just relax and enjoy that day without any tensions and headaches!
I prefer to finish all my work till saturday night wether its shopping, studying or anything else...
This makes me completely free on sunday and I get a break in every week in form of my favourate day SUNDAY!

Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Those are all great days for relaxation in my opinion. Each one with its own charm. I mean thursday is almost the weekend/is the weekend depending on the work. Friday is usually casual at work or I have it off anyways. Saturday is a full free day and I can do what I want.
