Why You Choose This Name For Your Kidz?

You may not believe it but still i will relate my story of naming my child. I myself and my wife descend from a Prophet. My father had told me that i was named in his dream. I believed him because of his strong character but wondered if that is possible, when i'll have my own child. Later i forgot about it and only now i remember it after my own experience. I myself and my wife dreamt simultaneously, where Prophet's daughter came to tell us that a son will be born to us and she told the name to be given to our son, who will be helpful in guiding the people. This dream was 6 months before his conception and we told our parents about it. They were happy and my father again reminded me of his own dream. The dream came true and 3 months ago we had our son, who is named as was told to us.

My daughters name is Kati-Jayne, i am quite a young mum and didnt want to go for all the names that seem to be following a trend of odd names 'Apple' etc (Gwyneth Paltrow's child) so i thought Kati was a nice traditional name but still quite modern, however just changed the spelling, from Katy, or Katie. Her middle name is my grandmothers name and i wanted to name her after her as she is so special to me! I think the two names sound beautiful together and if people get sick of saying it they just call her KJ :)

My daughter was named Heather because of the flower and her middle name is Dawn after me. I personally wanted to name her Rebel Nichole. My family as well as her father was against the name. So we decided on the name together. I picked the first and my husband picked her middle. After my daughter was born we found out that she really is a rebel. She likes to do things her way all the time. I hope she will out grow this.

My daughter's name is Angelina. I was told for ten years from many Doctors that I couldn't have children. 10 years later I found out I was pregnant (you can imagine my surprise) so I picked Angelina because it has Angel in it. She is my miracle angel baby!

I names my daaughter Caitlyn Sue. Her name Caitlyn means pure. Caitlyn is my first name and middle name put together. Sue is my moms name and I wanted to honor my mom as well. My middle sons' name is Mitchell Allen. I didn't give him his name because he is adopted. Mitchell means who is God like. My youngest child is also adopted so I didn't name him either. His name is Andrew David. Andrew means manly.

My daughter's name is Niesha Eunice which means Niesha for pure and Eunice for Happy and Victorious. I got it from the internet and I liked it from the first time i read its meaning. My son's name is Lowell named after his dad. =)

Hi, my daughters name is Pippa Louise. I wanted something a little bit different and I loved the name Genevieve but my then husband didn't like the name, can't remember exactly how we settled on Pippa now (It is 17 years ago lol) but when we had decided on her name we couldn't think of anything that went as a second name as our surname was not the usual, well one of my mother - in - laws work colleagues thought that Louise went well with Pippa so we chose that!

our first child is named Makayla Elizabeth, and our second child is named Elizabeth Reine.

My husband feels like he is a king so he wants our children's name to be after royal names. Our children's names are William Henry (named after Prince William and Prince Harry), Stephanie (named after Princess Stephanie of Monaco) and Diane Frances (named after Princess Diana; Princess Diana's real name is Diana Frances).

for me ...maybe because our parents want us to be...they just tried to put their names like if you had a son..he's name is after his father's name ...a junior type name or if a girl is after her mothe's name or it might be mixed up with your parents name...some people put their names to their kids by their favorite idols ,actors,singers or whoever they want..my name is made by mom because its her favorite artist..

actually im just 18 and recently studying and i dont have kid/s yet... but if ill have one if its boy ill call him prince cryeon if its girl ill call or name her princess brennete... i just think its quite sound good
