Has anyone heard the the tape of Alec Baldwin to his daughter? Shamefull. I've heard it one the news (minus the profanity)and it is on the TMZ.com web site. I know we have all had times when we either felt like or did yell at our kids, but this was all about Alec!. Shame on him.

The judge was right to revoke custody from him. I feel sorry for the mother. No child deserves to be called a pig. He should be ashamed for all the mean and hurtful things he said. There is a better way to talk to your child without threatening them.
And it seems so unlike what I thought his character, don't you think?

I don't think we can know the character of celebrities from what we see and hear in the media. Some of them are so wierd, just like the rest of the population. Others are truely people of character, but I don't think most of the people of character are in the news that much. They are considered "boring".
I think Alec Baldwin is a very talented actor. Only now, I doubt I'll be watching anything that I know he is acting in.

Thanks for sharing this. I cannont believe how he spoke to her. I would have him back in court so fast it would make his head spin. He wouldn't be allowed to call my child ever again. Shame on him saying that and threatening his daughter. He doesn't even know her age. 11 or 12?? I am betting mom knows her exact age at all times. How could he talk to his daughter like that? What hurtful words and he is supposed to be an adult? Oh this makes me mad. Now I am really worked up. I am not going to be watching his moives anymore. Shame on him.

Yeah, that is a bad example of parenting. Of course when you are famous you think you are above it all. This may haunt him for a while.

I have young daughters just under that age. It tears at my heart that a father could ever talk to his daughter that way. Being angry is no excuse. Reminds me of the cowards that hit women. No, I am not saying Alec Baldwin physically abuses his daughter, but that tirade and threat certainly was meant to verbally torment her. I really feel for her.
I have no idea what the divorce is about and I really do not follow celebrities like others do, but I do look out for children. This tirade is so over the top that it should affect his parental rights. Were I a judge, I would impose immediate supervised visits only until he can prove that he is not a danger to his daughter. And until he can show that he can remain civil to her.
I challenge anyone to explain in what situation it is OK to call your 11 year old daughter a horrible pig. Never mind, it doesn't exist, so don't try. It would only make me that much angrier.
